Our Business Philosophy...

We actively seek partnership and collaboration with our customers to promote their success. This is reflected in our pricing policy, and our commitment to any project we undertake. That commitment entails going out of our way (at no extra cost) to make sure we understand our clients education needs, and partner with them to fulfil those needs.


We believe in accountability to our clients. This can include monthly or weekly reporting of our activities, and taking ownership of our clients’ business objectives in the way that we develop and provide training.

Our History...

Formerly an employee of British Telecom (BT) for 17 years, and in the Telecommunication/data networking industry all his working life, Chris Thompson left British Telecom and, with his wife Dawn, founded Interact Development Training, trading as a businessusiness partnership in 1992.

From the beginning, Interact Development Training delivered training on cutting edge network technology. From day one, we were delivering training to AT&T, British Telecom, ECI Telecom, General Telecom, Civil Aviation Authority, Nortel Networks, and many others.

Over the last sixteen years, IDTNet has experienced consistent customer base growth, growth in the diversity of our syllabus, growth in the range of delivery methods and language, growth in expertise, and growth in organisation.

In February 1998, a UK registered company, Interact Development Training Limited, was formed, and started trading in January 2004 in place of the partnership.

In 2002, Interact Development Training became EMEA training partners for AT&T

In 2005 Interact Development Training Ltd became technical training partners with Easynet, now a part of BSkyB Ltd.


Developing our team...

Quality and excellence of the IDTnet team is ensured by carefully selecting and training each team member.

We insist that each person must:


• Pass our own internal accreditation programme in development/presentation skills

• Pass our comprehensive internal accreditation regime in the subject matter of each course they develop and or present.

• Fully observe our data and IT security policy with respect to any information they hold about us or our clients.
